Career Coach Certification Courses

Virginia Career Certification Course (VCCC): Based on the 12 competency areas outlined in the National Career Development Association (NCDA) Facilitating Career Development curriculum, the Virginia Career Coach Certification (VCCC) program, available through the VCCS Student Success Center, provides coaches at Virginia’s community colleges with the frameworks and tools needed for effective career coaching. VCCC requires 40 hours of training consisting of 10 hours of face-to-face Zoom training, split into six, 2-hour parts (breaks included), and up to 30 hours of online learning modules.
