Founded in 1967, Brightpoint Community College, formerly John Tyler Community College, envisions a success story for every student. The college, which serves 10 localities in Central Virginia, provides transfer; career and technical; and short-term workforce programs at its two campuses in Chester and Midlothian and through its online offerings.
