Medical Coding – Hospital, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for work in medical records; the courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medical coding CPT and ICD 9/10 prepare students for Certified Coding Associate and Specialist exams. An internship is required for this program.

Office Professional Technologies, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for work in a modern office. Students will complete seven courses in topics such as keyboarding, database, web design, computer science, spreadsheet, digital literacy, and business. This certificate can be applied toward a degree in business management.

Project Management, Certificate

This certificate prepares the seasoned professional with the skills necessary to disguise themselves within their company or profession. Students take nine courses in accounting, computers, management, finance and ethics.

Information Technology, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for employment in web design, technical support, or database management. Students complete their six technology courses and experiential learning to be ready for the workforce.

Marketing, Certificate

This career studies certificate provides students basic skills and knowledge in marketing. The four courses for this certificate could be applied to a degree when working closely with an advisor.

Industrial Supervision, Certificate

This career studies certificate is designed to provide those with previous work experience the practical knowledge, skills, and training for those seeking work as a leader in an industrial field. Students take four courses in quality assurance, supervision, plant operations, and time and motion study.

Land Surveying, Certificate

This career studies certificate emphasizes land and field surveying practices and office techniques, as well as utilizing a variety of instruments including levels, total stations, and GPS units. Graduates of this program, through the nine civil engineering courses and two required math courses, will be prepared for an entry-level position in the surveying field and to take the Fundamentals of Surveying (FS) examination.

Lodging Management Trainee, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares individuals for management trainee positions in the lodging industry, including guest services, sales, assistants in hotels and motels, and comparable roles. Students will complete an internship as part of this program in addition to the ten required courses.

Information Systems Technology, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students to work in information technology. Students will take courses in topics such as database, web design, digital literacy, e-commerce, computer science, and web scripting.
