The annual chancellor’s retreat, held in Roanoke, VA August 7-8, was an opportunity for leadership and staff from all 23 colleges, the Shared Services Center and the System Office to discuss ideas on moving the Virginia Community College System forward. Some members of the State Board and local advisory boards were also in attendance. The theme was “Mission Possible.”
Here, Board Chair Dr. Michael E. Wooten urges those in attendance to maintain their focus on student success.
