The Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts lays the foundation for various online pathways to a Bachelor of Arts degree in art and art history, ASL-English Interpretation, communication, Deaf studies, English/literature, history, humanities, journalism, music, philosophy, pre-law, social sciences, speech-language pathology, religious studies, and world languages. Students take 20 classes in which they foster abilities in analytical and critical thinking, written and oral communication, and understanding global cultural awareness through a combination of sign language courses, elective courses, and general education courses. Students interested in this course of study should be comfortable communicating with the instructor and classmates using live and recorded video to practice skills.
