Cloud Computing, Certificate

This career studies certificate is designed for those who seek employment in the field of cloud computing, for those who are presently in that field and who desire to increase their knowledge and update their skills, and for those who must augment their abilities in other fields through the completion of required courses in topics like Linux, virtual infrastructure, network security, and Python.

Cisco Network Administration, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for a career in CISCO computer networking systems. Students will complete courses in topics like python, networking, linux, and project management; industry certifications can be evaluated for credit toward this program.

Business Administration, AS

This degree is designed to prepare individuals for business programs at a four-year institution through 20-21 core classes in English, history and math, as well as specialized classes in accounting and economics. Electives offer an understanding of business needs and practices and allow for a seamless transfer to many four-year institutions. Typical majors include accounting, economics, information systems, international business, finance, management, marketing, and public administration. Students who are considering transfer into a bachelor’s degree must coordinate with advisors for successful transfer.

Accounting, Certificate

In this career studies certificate, accounting students work with computerized accounting applications and online research tools to develop the problem-solving and technical skills required to work in the public and private sectors through a series of nine required courses. Graduates are prepared for careers in areas such as accounting, accounts receivable/payable, bookkeeping, cost accounting, and payroll.

Computer Application Design, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for employment in web design, technical support, or database management. Students can complete their eight information technology courses and internship and be ready for the workforce.

Business Entrepreneurship and Management, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students to start or manage a small business. Students will complete seven courses in a variety of topics such as accounting, written and oral communication, marketing, and law

Dietary Manager, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares professionals for a career in food service and dietary management for hospitals, long term care facilities and other healthcare settings. Students will be prepared for the ANFP exam upon completion of the relevant coursework and internship.

Information Systems, Management, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for entry-level jobs like a computer support specialist, computer operator or data entry keyer. Coursework includes eight courses in business, technology and accounting.

General Education, Certificate

This certificate provides students with a solid foundation in critical thinking, written and oral communication, quantitative and scientific reasoning, cultural and social understanding, and information literacy, Students can apply the ten required courses to many associate degrees, or can use these to demonstrate skills required for an employer. This is the equivalent of the first year of an associate degree, and can transfer to many bachelor’s degree programs.
