Web Design Specialist, Certificate

This career studies certificate provides students basic skills and knowledge in web design. These seven courses prepare students for CompTIA Network+ certification as well as the CIW Web Foundations Associate professional certification.

Network Security and Support, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for a career in computer networking systems. Students will complete courses in information technology, and industry certifications can be evaluated for credit toward this program.

Information Technology, AS

This program will prepare individuals for employment in this growing field. Completion of this program should qualify graduates for entry-level positions in information management or information technology. While completing the 20 required courses, students focus on math, written and oral communication, information technology, programming, and social sciences. This program can also transfer into a bachelor’s degree at several institutions; students should work with advisors to ensure the courses and/or the degree are compatible with transfer.

Information Technology for Business, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for work in settings in which information technology and business may intersect. Students take six courses in business, database, information systems, digital literacy and e-commerce.

Information Technology, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students for employment in web design, technical support, or database management. Students complete their six technology courses and experiential learning to be ready for the workforce.

Information Systems Technology, Certificate

This career studies certificate prepares students to work in information technology. Students will take courses in topics such as database, web design, digital literacy, e-commerce, computer science, and web scripting.

Information Technology Specialization, Business Administration, AA/AS

This program prepares the student to transfer to a four-year college or university to major in business. Students will complete coursework in transfer courses, information technology, accounting and economics for a total of 21 required courses. Students should work closely with an advisor when choosing courses for transfer to a bachelor’s degree program.

Information Systems Technology, AAS

This program will prepare individuals for employment in this growing field through entry-level positions as a computer support specialist, networking technician, app developer or programmer. The required courses cover topics in math, written and oral communication, information technology, social sciences, and accounting. Students who wish to transfer should coordinate with an advisor to determine the best pathway for each specific institution.

Information Systems, AS

This program will prepare individuals for employment in this growing field. Completion of this program should qualify graduates for entry-level positions in information management, information systems, or information technology. Cybersecurity specialization, Information Technology Systems, AAS

This degree focuses on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data. Graduates from this specialization can expect to find entry level jobs in computer security related fields. Many of the 22 required courses in this program apply toward a certificate; work with an advisor to determine eligibility when you enroll.
