    2014-2015 Scholarships

Each year, the Virginia Foundation for Community College Education recognizes outstanding students of all ages and backgrounds through its growing scholarship program. With gratitude to our numerous sponsors, we congratulate the following 2014 VFCCE scholarship recipients:

    Potomac Health Foundation Fellows Program

New for the 2014-2015 academic year, the Potomac Health Foundation Fellows Program was established to help promising, second-year, full-time associate degree health sciences students who attend Germanna Community College or Northern Virginia Community College to pursue their academic goals and strengthen their leadership skills.

Scholarship recipients must excel academically, exhibit exceptional leadership potential, participate in community service activities and demonstrate financial need. In addition to being United States citizens, applicants must reside in the specific zip codes served by the Potomac Health Foundation. Recipients receive funds to support tuition and fees, as well as reasonable expenses such as clinical supplies inherent to the health sciences field.

The Virginia Community College System is pleased to announce that three students have qualified to receive Potomac Health Foundation Fellows Scholarships this year. All of these outstanding students are passionate about pursuing a career in health care and have dedicated many hours to community service projects that help others lead happier, healthier lives.
