    Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence

    The Chancellor’s Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) recognizes excellence in teaching in Virginia's Community Colleges.

    The Award is given annually to one full-time VCCS faculty member, and provides the recipient for $5,000 and a VCCS Stole.

    The full application process requires submission of this form, including an application abstract, letter of support from the college president; class syllabus; application narrative; resume or curriculum vitae; completed signature sheet; and demonstrative video.
