Last year, more than 190,000 people directly benefited from our workforce programs, including the 65,000 people we served in programs customized for Virginia businesses - a substantial increase over the previous year.

In partnerships with local schools and businesses, we have placed career coaches in more than 100 high schools across the commonwealth increasing post secondary enrollment in those schools by an average of 6.5% and even higher in some schools.

Over 70% of Middle College students received a GED and more than half of the students we served last year enrolled in a college program.  These are some of the best succes rates in the business.  This effort is vital in giving working-age Virginians a second chance at the skills they need to work in a global marketplace.
