The Workforce Development Services division at each community college develops custom training programs for employers across the commonwealth. These programs are targeted specifically to the needs of the organization and the individual client requesting the services. Customized training focuses on skill development to impact the organization’s productivity (such as team building, management and leadership, coaching, lean or manufacturing); individual productivity (such as time management, managing stress, communication, or customer service); computer skills (including Microsoft office suite, technical certifications, or customized applications); and job specific skills (like HVAC or health and safety). Customized training tailors the level of each program to the needs of the client by awareness, learning & practice, or mastery. Training can be provided at the college facilities or at the employer’s workplace. Training can be scheduled for any time to meet the demands of varying work schedules.
:
Custom training modes of instruction include traditional stand up facilitation, on-line learning, and credit and non-credit programs. Training can be provided at community colleges or on-site.
