Chancellor's Faculty Fellowship Application 

Application must be submitted electronically by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 1 each year.

(Note: This form must be completed in one submission process. This form does not allow one to save, log off, and then return to finish the process. It is recommended that you create your text in a word document and then cut and paste that information into the online form.)

 

I. Applicant Information

Years of service to the VCCS (Note: To be eligible, you must have a minimum of three years of VCCS service as a full-time teaching, administrative, and professional faculty with unrestricted rank and salary proposals.)

 

II. Educational Background

Colleges and universities attended. List in order of most to least current, including all graduate level through associate work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

GRE Scores (if available)

 

GMAT Scores (if available)

 

Please list other assessment instrument (if available) with names and scores.

 

III. Professional Plans

 Provide a narrative that helps our reviewers know and learn about you in the following sections:

a) Your reasons for applying for the Chancellor's Faculty Fellowship.
b) Your short- and long-term professional goals, and
c) What you hope to accomplish during your period of study at the university.

Deadlines

The VCCS online application is to be submitted by 5:00 p.m. EST on February 1 each year. If due date falls on a weekend, the following Monday will serve as the due date.

Nomination Packets must include the following documents which should be scanned into one pdf labeled with the date and applicant's name (e.g. 2010 Fellowship Application - John Smith) and submitted electronically to Nan Ottenritter at nottenritter@vccs.edu.

  • President's letter of endorsement
  • Current transcript or acceptance letter (whichever is applicable). Students having completed course work toward their doctorate should submit a copy of their current transcript along with the materials. Students beginning their program should submit a copy of their acceptance letter into the program.
