This year's World Languages peer group meeting will be held October 5-6, 2012 in conjunction with the Foreign Language Association of Virginia (FLAVA) at the Crowne Plaza Williamsburg at Fort Magruder in Williamsburg, Virginia. Lodging and tax are covered for each VCCS employee, full time and adjunct alike, whose campus is 50 or more miles from the site of the conference. An additional night’s stay is available for those whose campus is 200 or more miles. Reservations must be booked and guaranteed by the attendee. Be sure to identify yourself as a VCCS employee so the charge will be transferred to VCCS’ master bill upon check in. No-shows and incidental charges are the responsibility of the individual. In exchange for providing attendees with a year’s membership in FLAVA, meals will not be covered by the VCCS.

Conference registration for FLAVA will open soon on the FLAVA site. A notice will be sent when it opens. When you do register please be sure to check the box identifying yourself as VCCS employee so your conference and membership fees will be paid by the VCCS Office of Professional Development.
