2008 Faculty & Administrative Leadership Academy

The VCCS 2008 Faculty and Administrators Leadership Academy was held September 30 - October 3, 2008 at the Sheraton Richmond West in Richmond, Virginia. This year's program focused on the complex role of the organizational leader, building effective work teams, succession planning, and managing costs effectively. New this year was the presidents' panel. The academy was facilitated by Desna Wallin and George Boggs, president of the American Association of Community Colleges, provided the opening address.
