Identity Theft Prevention Program

The VCCS Identity Theft Prevention Program is part of the Compliance Program known as “Red Flag Rules.” The Program is designed to detect Identity Theft attempts at the colleges and stop identity thieves from committing fraud by using another’s identifying information. There are two versions of training. One is comprehensive and provides detailed information for training. The other is a shortened version, meant to create awareness for users who have minimal contact with these issues.

This program is applicable for all 23 colleges system wide.
